Prove me wrong, look at the rise of donald trump...:dwillhuh: look at how white america is reacting...:dwillhuh: something is coming you cant feel it???:dwillhuh:

Worse has happened over the years and nothing has happened. They enacted civil rights without a civil war. The urban squalor of decades past... Honestly the amount of injustice the people of this country have faced since its inception and nothing serious since the early 1900s and then it was even confined.

the black cat is my crown...
More polarized than what? The 90s? The 80s? The 70s? The 60s? Mid to early 20th century? The 19th century? Pre civil war? Perhaps the Continental Congress?

What are you comparing 2015 to?
okay, fair question.... i'll have to say compared to the 90s... i saw a segment on tv that was talking about how rural america (mostly conservative) and urban america (mostly liberal) were moving apart in areas other than just politics, like the places we shop, hang around, interests, tastes in music.. although i will admit it wasn't compared to a particular time frame......

another reason i feel america is becoming increasingly polarized is the rise of the internet... the internet allows people to surround themselves with only the information they want to hear...

i don't have data to back up either of my assertions (i freely admit this) and i am mostly relying on anecdotes to base my belief, but i truly feel the country is becoming more polarized... civil war era type polarized, eh i doubt it.. but certainly i feel like it is becoming more polarized than the 90s and 2000s.....

Reforms show otherwise.
Reforms? What reforms?

Obama passed a republican healthcare plan from 20 years ago.

Thats reform?

Being arm-twisted into half assed legalization of weed? Word?

Is it gay marriage?

None of this shyt is as liberal as you're making it seem, if anything libertarian is the right word.

Nah americans are too fat, well fed, and have enough mindless entertainment to keep that from happening
AND...things really aren't THAT bad.

Thats what you have to just come out and say.

Dudes acting like we live in some 3rd world shyt here.

The definition of "struggling" in the USA is basically not having what the next guy has for leisure. I'm gonna catch heat for this, but I chalk this up to most of the people on HL not having passports.

I was making this point this Friday with my pastor, who is also a lawyer, in regards to the shift in moral issues like the gay rights and transgender issues. It's harder to take rights away than it is to open them up and because we've shifted in a left type direction we will continue to do so.

Good read.
Thats only social issues.

This has nothing to do with ECONOMIC issues, and I see nothing "leftward" happening in that regard.
