It's just the American culture and the brainwashing behind it.

Just looking at this thread tells you why. This is a forum where the median income for the majority of the demographic is not anything to be too proud -

The majority of the poster aren't alt-right Caucasians yet we still have a large percentage of poster with a

"Pull your self up by the bootstraps"
:troll:
"Just Start a business "
:troll:
"Should've just did STEM"
:troll:

Attitude and mentailty.

Now if that's black posters just imagine a more right-winged cac point of view. That's America for you.
meanwhile cac eric and amigo Juan are union tradesman making $40+ an hour with GEDs

we the only ethnic group that pushes college so hard and barely get the returns on investment. Setting millennials up for decades of debt.

Not everyone can go into STEM...just like not everyone can become a doctor or lawyer

Lol, no healthcare isnt a human right. No good or service that comes from the labor of another is a human right, imo.

Individuals decide what is a fair wage to them. So arguing for fair wage in abstract is ridiculous to me. You take what you can.

I dont look at nations making individuals soft or strong.
This is barbaric

Hewlthcare is a basic human right in every civilised country

You earn benefits, you arent entitled to them.

If the only thing you can do is physical labor, well you are easily replaceable, you wont command a high salary or benefits.

Want to do better economically, improve your skillset

If you that pissed off someone challenging your point of view, go to the HL and openly atate that.

And yes.....healthcare is a human right.
Im not pissed off at all. I just responded to your arguments point by point.

You made this here, why demand that it be.discussed in another board? That said we can have a discussion in The Root, but I dont particpate in hl anymore.

As for your human right contention, I disagree for the reason I stated before. No one has a right to a good or service produced.by someone else.

Iy might be your opinion that it is barbaric, but I disagree.

Healthcare.is.a.service. I disagree with the contention that it or any other.good or service produced by another person is a right.

Thats a choice thet make, and 15 days a year in personal time.is pretty good. Plus they get training days, and sick days and great pay.

I doubt you have a shirtage of doctors in the US, id anything you have a surplus in the.various specialities, but none of the.shortages in say particular fields are because.of lack of pay or benefits, that are manufactured by the AMA's monopoly on schools and.board requirements.

OP and others have raised some valid points. America isn't a country, it's a corporation. Until lobbying is made illegal, you won't see any change. All politicians/lawmakers are having their pockets lined by special interest groups. The people that should be fighting for the people won't. American citizens and the country as a whole are lost. We need some drastic changes to take place and it may not be possible in this current system.

Unions have been made illegal in many jobs. Some jobs offer no bereavement, so if your parents, your spouse and/or your kid dies, you'll be expected back to work the next day. Guess they want us to grieve on our own time unpaid :picard:

Five day work weeks should be illegal at this point too. There was a study done, here's the link A 4-Day Workweek? A Test Run Shows a Surprising Result and they proved that productivity skyrocketed when employees only worked 4 days a week. Employees had more time with their families and their hobbies/interest which resulted in less stress. Yet, America puts the blinders on when studies like these are published.

America is designed to work you until you're almost dead. By the time millennials are eligible to retire, the age to draw social security, IF THEIR IS ANY LEFT, will be over 70. Americans are only living to 77 now! I'm not working 50 years to die within 5 years of retirement. That might sound ideal to some and be an unintentional outcome for others, but not me... fukk that.

Student loan debt has crippled the millennials. No hope for that generation. The government will pump more anti-depressants into the drinking water to keep these people from killing themselves.

Some people are saying a STEM degree is the solution. Well, I have a STEM degree, but if I had to do it all over again, I would do a trade. I'm raising my kids and advising my neices and nephews to pick up a trade too. Blacks have no guarantee to attain a "good job" with a degree, but you are guaranteed crippling debt.
