I'm very interested in religion but that's not indicative of a desire to adhere to one. Religion played a huge role in my formative years.

And when it comes down to it, there either is a god or there isn't one. We can agree to disagree all we want, but that doesn't change the facts. And all I see from you and people like you is blind faith in mythology because you were taught it and/or it makes you feel better.

Do you believe in Jesus Christ?

I believe that Jesus, Issa, Yeshua whatever you choose to call him (may peace and blessings be upon him) was a messenger of Allah.

I used to side with atheists until I saw what douchebags most of them really are. Now I side with no one :yeshrug:

It's not about whether they're a douchebag or not.

If you formulate your beliefs based on the attitude of the believer, you're a fukking idiot.

If a really kind humble person believed in fukking Santa Claus, would you believe too?

I still have atheistish beliefs and don't like Christians. But I still don't identify as atheist 100% due to hypocrisy and douchebaggery I have recently been exposed to in their community :ld:

Black people are the most religious people in America with the highest out of wedlock, single mothers so where are u getting this from?
Actually most things that lead to the mothers becoming single these days are behaviors that are anything but religious.

What I don't get is why do people get put under the title of religious when they rarely even follow the religion they claim to be apart of.

They might not completely follow but they accept the teachings of the religion to be true.
Them same strippers believe that jesus is real but just don't follow the bible as they think it should be.

What basis do you have for believing that?

The prophet Muhammed (pbuh) existed which is a historically verifiable fact, the Quran is a book which is over 1400 years old in its original Arabic language. The Quran contains information which Muhammed (pbuh) couldn't have known therefore I believe the Quran to be a book of guidance from Allah (I prefer using this word instead of God because I find it more respectful)

So given that the Quran is accurate I believe what it says about other messengers including Jesus and Moses. I don't know if Jesus's existence is one which has been verified by historians but the story of Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea have been verified through examinations of the mummy of the pharaoh of the time.

That's long winded but yeah, I believe in A Creator therefore I believe He (though there is no gender involved) would communicate guidance to His creation and having studied Christianity, Islam and the Quran is what make sense to me. That's my basis for believing Issa (pbuh) was a messenger of Allah.

What information is contained in the Quran that Muhammed couldn't have known?

Well if they don't follow it then they are not truly religious but simply use it as a coping method because it is a comfort to many.

If they are just using it as a coping method and are not following it then they are just delusional in thinking that they are a true followers.

Let's not entertain their delusional thought where they think that they are religious.

Double enterende for you atheists. :yeshrug:
