Tbh when I got my hair cut I'd usually go with 2nd level all around with a taper. Works for me.

Barber drunk as hell sippin Henny and smoking weed. Whole barbershop smell like weed. He live streaming and stopping every 5 seconds to do some other shyt

Cut was fire though, and he doesn't use that damn black spray.

Also I'm letting my hair grow out and use that sponge to enhance my natural curl pattern. Ever since fading my hair and growing the top out... lots of black women give me compliments on it.

I had a barber who I've been using for 10+ years who I would tip heavily and we had a non verbal agreement that he barely talks to me and concentrates on my hair rather than making calls and talking bullshyt in my ear.

He gave me two bad cuts in a row so I've dropped him.

Tried another barber twice and he doesn't cut my shyt the same but I will just keep searching for a new one until I find somebody who can.

I used to go to a barbershop like that when I was younger ! MF’s would stop cutting my hair to freestyle

Now that I’m older I go to this other shop & my barber is a lot more professional , doesn’t talk as much or ask me how my day was . Just sit cut my hair and I dip .

More and more barbers going to appointment only(at least the ones with a built up rep) has been a gamechanger. I get to my appt 5 minutes early and at the most I'm sitting 10 minutes waiting for my cut and dude be locked in during my cut. My only complaint since I go to a Dominican shop now is that them nikkas never watch basketball or football, it's always a Dominican DJ on Youtube or the DR cable channels.
