Time, space and matter had a beginning. What was before had to be timeless, spaceless, and immaterial. Can't explain something from nothing with the something that came afterwards.

Scientists have proven there was no river that high up EVER. Do you think I would ask such a question if the answer was that simple?

It would take over 5 trillion yards of dirt to fill the canyon in. On the rim of the canyon is Kaibab Limestone which extends down 350 ft and also 10,000 square miles around /away from the canyon. At the higher parts of the canyon you find Mesozoic rocks. If lava didn't flow uphill to the Grand Canyon how did the rocks get there?

The delta of the Colorado River is a fraction of the size needed to move the 5 trillion yards of dirt. Can you look into that also?

I don't have all the answers but I'm not going to shy away from questions that are taught as fact everyday.

Assuming that these higher forces exist, we can't possibly know them until we develop the right tools to detect them. Until then it's just us and science and maths and logic. you really can't place false qualities on Gods back, especially if you don't believe in God. Atheist assume that because God isn't reveling himself in a way that would satisfy your narrow parameters and 'detection tools' that he may not exist. That is illogical.

Science, math , and logic doesn't negate God...... and a believe in a higher power doesn't lessen a humans capacity for math science or logic. Damn near all the technologist on the planet believe in a higher power. Most mathematicians believe in a higher power and many claim that the math alone negates the possibility of a 'random' unconscious universe.

Also, logic is what proves a creator in the minds of most educated believers. We know for a FACT that life can create life and that consciousness and intelligence can produce the same. Science and logic both support and prove this position. Nothing AT ALL even begins to show that life or consciousness/intelligence can come from inanimate matter. Basic logic (based on what we've gathered in the last 200K years) demonstrates that it's MORE likely that the universe and all the consciousness in it- was intelligently created.

Why narrow our thoughts and minds when we don't understand more than 10% of the universe yet? Why not look into possibilities of other dimisions when most scientist are attempting to grasp and understanding of subatomic particles that just 15 years ago they would have laughed in their own faces if it was brought up. To even understand gravity, mass, and all matter science have to just 'accept' contradictions in their own theories on their path to understanding........ yet people like you can't accept that religious people may be OK with contradictions in their own theories. Religion and spirituality in general isn't meant to answer all the things you are Claiming it can't answer........... it's in place as a guide for living righteously, not as a new scientific method -- you clueless fukk.

No offense but it sounds like you are starting with a theory that the earth is 10,000 years old and trying to make the science fit the evidence instead of using the evidence to form a theory of how old the earth is.

I'm going with the earth is not millions of years old. I'm not changing evidence to fit I'm going with what I can get on a plane and see for myself today.

Anyone can look at the Canyon today and see what I've said. Anyone can see the delta is to small. Anyone can see the river on the other side whose bottom contains the same limestone from the top of the canyon. If the river cut the canyon as thought there would be the soil from the bottom in the river but there is not.
