You one of those idiots who choose to be obtuse about life. Yes White Supremacy exists, now what are you going to do about it besides suck Tariq Nasheed off

No, they should have a name that can allow them to not be stereotyped or disadvantaged when it comes to job searches and opportunities. I just told you I worked with kids in ados neighborhoods so it's not an anomaly. Now dm your sister's and grandmother's info so I can show how much of a Caribbean c00n I am.

You stupid fake deep intellectual idiot. If you are so militant your dumb ass wouldn't be even in America, your like the idiot who said he didn't want to use a AC because the white man invented it. Crash dummy fake militant who never did shi8 for black people but suck Tariq Nasheed dikk* online in real life I would punch your hairline back, then put it in your mother's mouth and make her mumble. I been all over the country and nobody ever came to be with no "you Caribbean " shi* and I've been in deep ADOS places, y'all keep playing these Tariq Nasheed games online until your mom has to have a bbq for you every summer in remembrance.

You sambo idiots are DYING to colonize the minds of black children before they even get started
Maybe we can avoid the most made up names w no base.. sure
But many ethic names have a base.
Other names follow traditional naming patterns
And to name someone Dustin or some goofy cac shyt so they have the best shot at an underpaying corp job is the lamest most slave minded naming tradition I ever heard of.

You don’t see Indians “whitening” their names. They may say call me “Raj”, but Rajendra, Gupta and Patel will take up 366 characters in the email signature with no problem.

White people will stumble over those names with no issue. The problem isn’t “black names”, it’s white people’s racism and the bias they’ve created against us.

Bobby Jindal's real name is Piyush.

i get into it constantly when a black person turns their nose up at black person with a black name or be like “wow why did their mom name them that”.

its weird to me because every other race’s culture can be displayed through their name. but black people cant have that or its looked down upon as being ghetto.

never heard of mexicans saying they have to name their child Tom so they wont have to worry about getting a job. i know we get profiled for our names in interviews but we have to put a stop to that influencing how we want to exist in this world imo. what are yall thoughts?

Bullshyt. My aunt went from Rosa to Rosemary :unimpressed:

Last year I was working with some Mexicans and I couldn't give you an answer to what their parents were thinking. Policarpio, and Bulfiero...:comeon:

What are THOSE people prospects?

In France, if your name sounds anything other than French or European, i can assure you your CV is getting throwed in the bushes

James and Jacob are from the bible :dwillhuh:
Nasir is a real name with Arabic origins
From Google search:
"Nasir (Arabic: ناصر‎ Nāṣir) is an Arabic masculine given name which can mean "helper" or "one who gives victory" (grammatically the Stem I masculine singular active participle of consonantal verb root n-ṣ-r). The female form of the name is Nasira (ناصرة Nāṣira)."
Nasir and Nasiir and the other variations are powerful names.. and is from an African Afro Asiatic language family like Arabic.
-How much does the meaning of a name or where you got it from really mean? Real questions.

-My
first name has a powerful meaning but I was named after my grandpa. Does the meaning even make a difference since it has nothing to do with why I got the name?
-My middle name is in the Bible & I'm not sure if that's why I have it. My son has the name from me & it definitely has nothing to do with the Bible so does the fact it's in there matter?

-To me it's like a person bragging about being named Apollo & being godly when they got named after the Rocky character.
