if you are in a weak position when you encounter a new group of people, they will probably harm you and come up with a narrative to justify harming you. black societies were weaker than europe and the middle east for the last 1000 years at least, so the relationship has been predatory. in east asia, blacks are often economic refugees occupying lower rungs on those societies, so they get treated the way mexican migrants get treated in america.

We are viewed as loud and abrasive. Some of out people come off that way so it feeds whatever preconceived notions these people had. We are also seen as complainers yet lazy, inferior, etc. A lot of conditioning. A lot of the unknown which breeds fear. A lot of confirmation bias.
