This is false, especially with BMW. They have several engines that would self destruct. N63, N63TU, and the S85

The people you know with BMW probably have the base models and not the performance versions

I agree but bmw/mercedes benz man their cars are always on these used car lots for dirt cheap because once they break parts expensive asf and constant issues... its a headache with both companies...:mjlol:

Anyone buying a BMW in 2022 is pouring jelly on themselves (if it ain't an M). Everything else has a POS engine. When them turbos go out and you not getting much power to the engine, y'all will see. I'll never buy one of them shyts again

What happened with your car???!:wtf:

Engine issues, all stemming from the turbos on my old 5-series. Anytime I'd have to go up a hill or accelerate period, I'd get this warning saying I need to get to a dealership since my engine isn't getting all the power needed. And idk if anyone else had this issue with theirs but the two 5s I had both had water leakage in them. Something about the vapor barrier. Got them shyts switched out and would still flood. Then was told it was something with the moon roof. I Usain Bolted down to the local GMC dealer and traded that hoe in. Soon as I pulled into the lot, fukkin lights went out. Got $10k for it tho. And I was the dude who always went before the suggested maintenance date/mileage to get my shyt serviced. Will NEVER step foot in one again. The issues not worth it. Lights alone cost $5k. Turbo issue ran $8k and that's after I fixed another engine issue that ran me $4k

I had to buy another car recently due to mine being stolen and totaled out. I love BMW but I had to talk myself out of getting another one (had one before my last car).

Well yeah you had a N54 problem engine . I got the F10 N55 and she takes good care of me. Literally drove her from TX to Cali to Vegas to Cali (bk and forth hella times) bacc to TX . Then again , I do all repairs myself

I got it December 2019 and put like 60K on it already. BMWs are meant for the Highway (guess you can say that about all cars but they really wanna be run like a horse)
