Whatever you wanna call them muthafukkas, the thing I run into is they do a whole lotta talking and very little listening since, well, they know everything already. I have way more enlightened conversations with ignorant hood nikkas, not that I seek them out, just got a bunch in my family.

Knowledge of self is very important and I commend people for trying to become more knowledgeable about history and themselves and their surroundings, I truly do. But...know...shyt, you know? How is KRS One cool with a well noted white supremacist in Alex Jones? How are so-called "conscious" people repeating the same urban legends and lies about abortion as far right Christian conservatives that would just as soon spit on them? I saw the MAAFA 23 director and I can tell that he uses that hard R on a semi regular basis just off his facial structure.

There really are "levels" to this. Conscious people in general get tired of the world around them, I know I do. Watch a show like OITNB, where the characters can jump from hilarity to in-depth looks at the prison-industrial complex, or the systematic oppression of women of colour. I'm definitely "pro-Black, militant, radical feminist, anti-theist" whatever, but I've learned to disguise that a bit, just so I can function normally.

Conspiracy theorists, aren't "conscious," they just disguise their conspiracy theories, and paranoia, with "pro -Black consciousness." They're dangerous because even though they may have a good idea every once in a while, they end up being anti-Semitic, misogynistic, and loud. So we see them more, and they become the representative for the pro-Black, or the Afro-centric.

A lot of conscious people understand that they only have a limited effect on society, so they assimilated (like the Ludacris character) and just remain self-aware of everything they do wrong.

Some people are intellectual, but they also need to learn how to find a balance, like the people the OP generally has to deal with .
