Not a good strategy imo. I'm not so convinced white people are ready to give up the appeal to MAGA and Trumpism yet.

Pretty much the gist of the video. Also, anything to avoid putting too much progressive pressure on the power structure. They get to keep things mostly the same and avoid socialist or populist policies. The video doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know but it does say it well.

Bottom line: Monied Dems gotta go.
Money shouldn't even be apart of politics but that boat sailed, burned and sunk centuries ago :wow:

Also I agree, this is a terrible strategy, but the people who get the brunt of the end result will be the working class.

AKA me and you :wow:
So they don't have much incentive to care. And if they go closer to fascism, it won't matter what we think or feel or vote at that point.

Straight from Flatbush
Dems are doing it because it’s an easy win for them being that these fat right candidates ain’t the sharpest tools in the tool box.. Dems know so long as they don’t run a candidate as polarizing as Hillary they win these elections from top to bottom plus these Maga hat candidates are straight running from debates too

They were doing this in PA with Dr. Oz too
The argument is that they want the easier to beat Republican to win (remember when Dems thought that about Trump :snoop:)
Makes sense (if you actually can beat them easier) but to me it's still dangerous promoting them wacko candidates

The same reason why Hillary Clinton wanted Trump to win his primary.

And it’s lazy. They would rather scare people into voting for them by contrasting themselves with idiots rather than compelling people to vote for them based on their policy and ideas.
It is lazy but people who vote are not smart and vote against there interests all the time.

Yea establishment Dems are basically promoting extremism as a means to maintain power and their jobs
It's kind of wild when you think about it. Everything is short term thinking, mofos not thinking past the next election cycle. Dumbasses are planting the seeds for future extremism and domestic terrorism

This is all premised on the belief in an everpresent middle-class, centrist body politic.

Be so out of touch to not see current conditions are trending towards extremes, or rather be so in denial about it that instead of pivoting left. you amplify the extreme right to appear more "reasonable" and "sensible".

These kind of white liberals, whether they act out of misguided ideologies or self-preservation, are not capable of stopping any kind of neo-fascist or techno-feudal hellscape. You have to be an extra scared negro or bougie paper millionaire negro (trying to hold on to your assets) to think that boosting the extreme-right to legitimize the center is a good political strategy.

That 'pied paper strategy' already backfired once with disastrous results, but these centrists are going to try it again because they need the far-right to validate their own feeble platform.
