Why are landlords given free rein to cripple the economy by pricing workers out of important major cities ?

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
:russ:nikka talking bout just buy a house in this market. Where am I living while I search for this house? If I don't like how expensive Oreos are, I can just stop buying them. People can't do that w/ places to live. It's find somewhere to live or be on the street.

You know what's crazy, remote work provided a way for people to not be so concretrated in these urban areas. Guess what they want to clamping down on?
Why not rent a room or a small efficiency while you stack up dough for a few years and save? Let me guess... Don't want to live there huh?

Again... Y'all want everything and also don't want any negatives to your gains... As if those gains ain't coming out of someone else's losses

I'm contemplating shacking up with a chick just to save on rent :dead:

No love honey, we here to save money :ohlawd:
Same thing... Brehs will move in with some bytch they halfway don't want but won't move into somebody's basement or back with moms for a min.. Or find another struggling friend or 3 and cut costs to save...

"Nope.. I want HIS house and he should give it to me for way below market value cause I deserve it. fukk what he had to do to get it. I don't even care to ask. Just take it government.. And don't give it to the other millions who need it more... Give it to me, an able bodied single man, first."

As a new homeowner, I completely empathize with renters being priced out. I had to move a minute drive out of London to get a home because it had become unaffordable to buy where I grew up (not that I wanted to live there) unless it was a complete fixer-upper.

People shouldn’t have to spend 350k on 2 br house that requires 50k+ worth of renovations just to live in the capital, same way renters shouldn’t have to pay 2k+ a month to live in a 2br apartment.

Until the government stop increasing interest rates and allowing energy companies to price gouge, mortgage and rent payments are only going to keep rising. This whole COL crisis is being caused by everyone increasing their prices to offset their increased costs and until we hold the government and banks accountable.

The average landlord is just a regular person with 1 or 2 rental properties. Trying go paint them as these evil money hungry capitalist doesn't make any sense. There's a huge difference between them and the Landlord Landlords that are actually giant investment firms/ hedge funds with hundreds of millions/ billions that they can use to skew the housing market.

This, any corporation that owns more than one, needs to be taxed hard, and it needs to be a cap on rents, you got some cities where rent is in the thousands and that’s crazy

Average salary in the U.S is $60k. Most people should be able to live on that if they budget right. I also don't understand people who struggle financially and live check to check but refuse to work more that 40 hours a week.
What jobs people working where they can work more than 40 hours a week?

60k ain't 60k when you get deducted taxes automatically and basic essentials are rising everywhere you go..

Wall Street tells you these companies sitting on money and the Ceo getting 7/8 figure bonuses..

Meanwhile these companies integrated pieces of extra employees work into your 40 hour work week and it aint reflecting on your paycheck:francis:

The extra Healthcare/40 hour pay(efficient hiring :mjlol: )going to their bonuses and they tell you yeah grind harder bro while ripping you off not only on a 40 hour week, but OT itself:sas2:

Breh I'm in a union and they asking me to be a Stewart but I don't want to fight for these lazy fukks. Furthermore everyone who is active in the union is Black men. Like all the advocates are Black and I'm fighting for Asians mostly who don't give 2 fukks about paying fair when it comes to the money positions.

I get the value of unions but I also strongly see why the died down. Most of our members are not good hard working folks they think we are here to protect them from accountability

Whole post just pocket watching, wtf do you care if they work or not you fakkit. :hhh:
