I think it's laughable how hard guys go on their Amerikkka posts, then turn around and co-opt white supremacist talking points regarding immigration.

@MaliktheRapper why are you so afraid of Hispanics? :mjlol:

It's :mindblown:

I was over at TLR and the talking points on this issue sounds like they came straight from a Trump sub reddit.

It's crazy how every racist behavior/reaction of whites that they complain about is the same reaction they have towards those they feel are in a weaker social position whether it be immigrants, gays etc.

@The Black Panther, Those are parenthetically hyperlinked throughout post 93, and you obviously are being intentionally obtuse by posting that you do not see those.

Whoa, chill with the accusations, breh. I see them now. :troll:

I thought you were referring to the post I originally quoted. Anyways...

Yeah...not much of a semantic difference between "chain-link partitions" and a kennel, if you ask me. According to the Atlantic article you cited, AP used the word "cage". I think that's accurate.

Referring to the CNN article...fair point.:manny:
Referring to the NPR article, I'll quote from the Atlantic article: "If you’re arguing whether the children are in cages [read: kennels] or windowless rooms, you’ve lost the plot." :cpagehubie:

They are not the same thing. Kennels are WAY smaller and are associated with animals. You are well aware of that. It is an obvious appeal to pathos by employing that phraseology. No, people have not lost the point when you have people outright saying that they are throwing people in some kennels as if they are animals. If your REAL issue is that you do not want people being detained, then say that. However, propagating outright false claims in an effort to equivocate and blaming it on semantics absolutely is not helping anything.

No the issue here is you do support their policy. You're in the minority here and in the country.

:hubie:"No sir, that's a devious prevarication, I'm a perfectly normal liberal, I just don't want this kids in cages thing to appeal to the average voter's emotions because that's working."

Because when it comes down to it, people are people and most people are selfish pieces of shyt. It's easy to be against discrimination when it's you and your folks in the crosshairs, but then when it's someone else people tend to :hubie: or even join in

I don't get it.
There is no voices of anger on bombing kids for decades now.
Never ending unconstitutional wars, which could easily fund free healthcare btw, with massive civilian casualties...... and nothing?
But seperating families?

I think many people get mad only when the media tells them to.

That's not true at all. People we're protesting like crazy in the past, specifically during the second Iraqi war, which, ironically is the start of most of todays problems. Even during Obama's administration people were protesting drone attacks and the conflict in Syria.
