So it's silly to feel good to provide for someone you love? Your family? I would love for my family to not have to worry about money and I'm not even a man. Sounds like you just don't have a nurturing spirit. Why shyt on others who value their personal relationships and the personal wealth fare of those they love?

Personally, I think it's a social construct/sexism, that creates serious problems for both sexes, as well as problems at a social level. I would do anything for people I care about, but I would rather give someone straight cash, (if I had those assets) so she could have her own money, her own dreams, rather than anchor someone to me for our mutual "security". I don't want that for people I care about, even if they want it for themselves.

The whole construct fosters a crippling of women economically, and encourages the resentment of both sexes, whole draining whole communities of resources, solely to raise children.
