I ran to go do some work. My job is 24/ 7 and, really, we're nearing the end of my available time.
What do I do? Well, first off, he transitioned to working from home a few yrs ago, so I cook all three meals. (And as of yesterday, he'd like me to start making dog food as well which will save money and help maintain the health of our aging Yorkie.) Since he's home, I operate as an assistant, brining coffee, water, meals, and snacks (bc he really can't get off the desk). In addition to helping whatever way I can with his work, I have my own. 1. Normal housekeeping plus seasonal extras. It's a lot bc literally all he has to do is take out the trash and I do three meals a day worth of dishes everyday. Plus, extra bathroom maintenance bc he's not at the office. 2. Meal prep which can get extensive depending on what he wants. 3. 'Special projects' which can include anything from, as stated earlier, the entire 5000 yr history of Iran, to figuring out how to make healthy dog food with all the nutrients he needs, to him wanting me to learn Middle Eastern cuisine bc he likes lamb. That's just
today. A Sunday, if you'll recall.

4. I give 1.5 days/ wk to outside errands and about half a day to budgeting, creating shopping lists, etc.
I don't normally cook on the weekends, he gives me a break, but last night, I asked him which sides he wanted with the steak I had thawed out. Lo mein? Dominican rice and beans? Americana? This was a Saturday night, mind you. (He chose Italian, btw, which meant I made a sauce from scratch at 2 am.) Every year, I learn two or three whole new skills. Can be anything. Last year, it was our relocation to the country (that covers several sub categories), Chinese cuisine, furniture making, and other girly stuff that saves money. I do all this while staying slim, cute, and dtf. 24/7.
