Why are moderate Dems being blamed for the House losses?

Trump is nearly universally popular in the GOP and he still has a lot of independent support. So I'm not sure how much that would work for Dems in areas that they don't already win.
What you wrote is why Centrist and Moderate Democrats who try to court Republican voters will always lose and explains the losses in the House this year. Thank you.

Biden won though. And he wouldn't have made it past the finish line in states like Wisconsin and Georgia without the split ballot voting.

He got more votes even against progressive star AOC in her own district, too.

There's no point in trying to win over Republican voters. The game is to excite the Dem base and woo independents of various stripes. The conservatives are all insane Trumper "5G gives you Covid!" morons now.

That I totally agree with. Independents/moderates are definitely worth getting (you probably can't win a national race without a good chunk of them) but actual conservatives are just going to vote Republican.

Biden won by going at Trump.

The rest of the party did a terrible job of tying their opponents to Trump. Idk what you are debating at this point.

Another failure the Dems did was not put their names in that stimulus check an get in the Republicans for not letting Americans get more support. I don’t think Biden ever talked about a stimulus check during the debates and I don’t recall that being in any ads I saw. shyt, did the DNC or any PAC fund anything to pressure elected officials to push for more stimulus funding?

They should have made a more explicit attempt to associate the stimulus check with themselves, I agree. But that could have been bad if it ended with Trump sending out any kind of stimulus check right before election.

You actually didn’t address the question. If Biden wow why are all these other “centrists” floundering then?

Dems lose because of poor political strategy by moderates, regardless of progressives.

They spend all their time trying to appeal to Republicans who will never vote for them and ignore their own (larger) base. And they were way too easy on Trump.

That cac is trying to troll

He's been in every thread (and even made one of his own) to say "Hey, Biden got more votes than [insert progressive here] :krs:". He'll never speak about Biden's vote share compared to the centrists who got voted out tho.:mjlol: lower learning back to form with the disingenuous shytposting.

You know the tides are turning when folks are clutching to strawmen like that while their centrists darlings are dying off.

Yang says Fox is good @ demonizing things and making them sound way worse than they are and the use it to turn their audience against a good policy.
Then he says Dems need to change the name when it is no longer advantageous or has been demonized.
If Fox is going to demonize whichever term you choose what's the point of changing it? They are just going to do it to the next term to. Then you spend all your time coming up with catch phrases and fighting some syntax battle that doesn't ultimately matter.
Dems want this politics thing to be some top down, disinfected process where the well to do can try and appeal to the common folk while not being amongst them (through the media).
Dems got to work harder, you have to canvas and talk to the public face to face where they live and hang out and explain what you plan to do for them. If that effort is consistent nothing on television will be able to sway them that easily. If someone came to your church, town hall, local bar and explained to you what Defund the Police means, some noob on TV telling you different isn't going to mean much.
