He's a decent rapper. His appeal and plethora of fans make him out to be better than he is. He's the most popular rapper, but well behind guys like Kendrick, Big Sean, Wale, Cole, Meek etc. in terms of just pure skill. He has the appeal because he's biracial, doesn't directly identify as black and can connect.with both sides. Although the pseudo southern accent is he can spit. Just not as good as the other guys but he'll always sell more because of the appeal.

This part right here makes for a much more interesting discussion. He excels at hitmaking but all of his albums are just good. Drake's a good rapper but him being the best is kinda like prime Joe Johnson or Brandon Roy being the best player in the NBA.
