He drops those lines so rarely though man. Like I said, I can probably count the lines he's had like that on one hand. And context matters, too.

Example: on Headlines, when he says "You're gon hype me up and make me catch a body like that, cause I live for this it isn't just a hobby like that," I took that as either him saying he'll do anything for the sake of his music, or that he'd kill someone lyrically. The song isn't about catching bodies, and catching bodies doesn't even make sense with the rest of the verse, so why would he just randomly talk about shooting people? But everyone quotes that line and says he's posing

I don't have a problem with the Nikk line either. Big difference between saying what you saw someone else do and saying that you did it. But again, those lines so rarely come up that I don't think it defines him. I'm not going to define Jay as a relationship rapper just because he has a few girl songs. Can't define Kendrick a punchline rapper just because Backseat Freestyle exists .The majority of Drake's stuff is the emo/relationship vibe or party joints for clubs/radio.
