He's a decent rapper. His appeal and plethora of fans make him out to be better than he is. He's the most popular rapper, but well behind guys like Kendrick, Big Sean, Wale, Cole, Meek etc. in terms of just pure skill. He has the appeal because he's biracial, doesn't directly identify as black and can connect.with both sides. Although the pseudo southern accent is he can spit. Just not as good as the other guys but he'll always sell more because of the appeal.

Nope. No bars. At all. Nothing metaphors. shyt reads like a journal. He's one of the few rappers I've seen ever, who doesn't have bars but his appeal covers it. Drakes music sounds good. It's easy listening but never do I listen to him and say

"Damn how you say something like that"

It's never amazing. It's all simple. He has some gems here and there but nothing as complex as Kendrick
