Madden has the same host of problems for decades and they only add or fix something every other year. In fact the terrible polish of a lot of long running franchises kinda drives home OPs point.
Almost every iteration of Assassins Creed is buggy af. Same with Madden, fallout etc
Nintendo doesnt have yearly iterations of games that are non single player games like Madden
