You mean the 2007 team that started the likes of Larry Hughes, Sasha Pavlovic, and then Daniel Gibson? Are those the nobody with game that you want as building blocks with your star player?

Or are you talking about that gritty team with a 37 year old Shaq, Mo Williams, and Antwawn Jamison? Those defensive powerhouses?
He's having that vinny testaverde Monday night miracle fourth quarter to try to keep that red stripe on his profile. Cape the the 2007 cavaliers supporting cast and coaching staff. WOAT.

no. i'm talkin bout the 2009 and 2010 teams with delonte west and anderson varejao providing that grit and toughness while cats like boobie gibson and mo williams were knocking down open shots.

i thought those teams were perfectly crafted around lebron's skills. good defenders that could hit open shots. then they played the lebron centric offense where he dribbled the ball for 20 seconds then put his head down and barrelled to the rim. if the defense collapsed he'd kick it out, if not he'd finish the layup. ugly basketball but effective.

I think that sort of team suited Bron more than the all offense/no defense squad they got him with now.

Their long term potential and trade assets are why they are potentially a scary team, not because of what they are today, they are a title contender right now and they have the pieces to get even better next year and the year after.

They could trade for Roy Hibbert this summer, on most teams you'd be like :scusthov: but with them adding him to the paint just for defense is :whoa:

they traded away their best long term asset in Wiggins. sorry but unless they trade kyrie and/or love they won't be winning a title.

kyrie and love are not elite two-way players and bron quit playing 2-way basketball last year after the heavy minutes starting taking a toll.

Wiggins woulda made then a title contender for the next decade. now they're window is the next 2-3 years of lebron's prime before he starts declining.

Needed an athletic post player tbh. Those cavs teams were just great regular season teams similar to okc now.

true. but having a dude in the post hurts bron's playing style. why else do you think they turned Chris Bosh into a 6'11" shooting guard. and why do you think he's going back to the post this season.

you can't have a lebron centric offense AND have a dominant post player. because lebron is mainly a driver of the basketball, he requires spacing and 3pt shooters. having a big that needs low post touches clogs the paint and renders bron's #1 skill mute.

that is why Kobe was always in my mind superior. his game is more versitile. he can play with bigs that clog up the paint because his mid-range jump shot is so elite. he doesn't need as much spacing as dudes like bron or wade need to be effective.

The logic that says "since Lebron took the Cavs to a ship with scrubs in 2007, he'll def win one now in 2015 because he has great players around him" is so dumb:mjlol:
First of all it's annoying when people bring it up like it was such a grand accomplishment. Have yall seen the competition in the east in in 2007:scust:? shyt was putrid. Number 1 team in the east would've been the 5th seed in the west. I mean there's a reason the Spurs mollywhopped them. The east was a pile of ass teams.
As it stands now these Chicago Bulls are multiple times better than any east team in 2007. Same with the Cavs. It's not as if this Cavs team is going back in time facing the same field of teams that the 2007 Cavs faced:pachaha:. What lebron did in 2007 is completely irrelevant to the current situation.

Lmao do u guys really think the clippers are a contender? :mjlol:They can't even get past the second rd. Durant missed his chance to win with okc already. Thibs runs his players into the ground. Spurs are the only viable team.

Clippers ain't contenders cause they can't get out of the stacked west but they are better than the Cavs. Only reason the Cavs are contenders is cause they are in the East. Put them in the west and they finish 3rd or 4th

But the Cavs aren't :comeon:? If you are in the east you can be more flawed than in the west and still be contenders cause the competition is worse. It's not really hard to understand:yeshrug:. Clippers aren't contenders cause they are in the west. If they were in the east they would be contenders even with there flaws cause the teams are just worse

Clippers aren't contenders because they're a highlight show. In the same boat as golden state. Nothing you're saying is fact. You're making excuses for a team because of where they play. :mjlol:

Y'all gotta stop reaching. That's that's like me saying Miami would've beat anybody not named the spurs last year, see how easy that is to do.
