Why are people so afraid to eat alone?

The coli (like most message boards) is comprised of introverts, naturally there is a groupthink negativity towards extroverts. There's nothing wrong with someone who would prefer to eat out with other people, introverts who hate on extroverts are just as lame as extroverts who hate on introverts. Neither personality type is superior and THIS IS COMING FROM AN INTROVERT
I'm not talkin about preferences I'm talkin about straight fear. I'm an introvert and i don't fear eatin with people. But how do you know its straight fear? If I'm going out I prefer to go with people, so where is the line between preference and FEAR?
If I'm hungry & I feel like eating out but don't have anyone available to roll, what do I look like sitting there starving? 
I don't have a problem eating alone. Also, sometimes you just want to unwind alone after a long day. I know I've upped and went out to a movie/to eat after a stressful 24 hours.

I haven't went to the movies alone but I have watched a movie alone, if that makes sense. A couple friends wanted to go see Avatar but I had already watched it. I ended up watching Sherlock Holmes in the theatre by myself (as in I was the only person in the theater). Great movie and it was a dope experience

I'm an only child, eating alone, seeing movies alone, all of that is just whatever to me, I have no issue doing it and have never felt weird about it.
I remember in high school, I would eat alone not because I didnt have any friends but just because I would rather chill with my headphones on and enjoy my lunch, every day some new person(mostly females) would come and ask me why I was eating alone, and tell me I could come eat with them and their friends, I always politely declined.
Wasnt until later that I realized I could've fukked a lot of those hoes man
