that's one guy compared to a system that lasted for centuries, hence why the author of the article compared it to the holocaust. like i said in another thread, its sickening when ppl try to minimize the unique nature of chattel slavery for one reason or another.

africans don't define their whole identity thru history with chattel slavery and then conjecture anytime before that.

being cut off from your language, home, nationality, and all other indicators of identity isn’t intellectually dishonest, it’s what happened. you’re in as much denial as a cac. maybe u are one.

If u concentrate hard enough on the above paragraph, you’ll see that colonialism and chattel slavery are different.

It’s because America is a cesspool where anti-AA sentiment is as normal and as beloved as apple pie and baseball. As a non-AA black African, I can’t wait to leave and build somewhere else. I got mad respect for people who’ve dealt with this for hundreds of years. shyt is exhausting.

African Americans have been demonized, scapegoated and antagonized since before America existed.

P.S: Best advice to blacks living in America is to travel, when/if you have the funds. American style racism is unfortunately not unique to America but American racism is grating and especially painful. A country that claims to be the best in the world, yet it shuns and kills those who built it

Difficult to tell really..

No one’s lying to themselves. We have a difference of opinion. Seems like u have a problem with folks being different because u believe they essentially aren’t.

Well if ppl treat each other differently, then it’s best to figure out why instead of acting like they’re simply unintelligent for acting the way they act or living how they live.

I dont have any issues whatsoever with people having differences..that's essentially what life itself is about.
What I take issue with is the notion that somehow our situation overall is not grave.

We simply have to make things work for us here. A revolt would be the thing to do. Through rebellion or leaving is how most of the land came to be settled. The problem is WE have nowhere to go. All land for what we know has been found and is inhabited by a certain type of people. We as African Americans have to find some way some how to rise without it crippling our population.
