Why are smarks still hating on Reigns?

So what changed? Cause if he just sucks and is untalented and so forth, how come the crowds weren't booing him when he was tossin' muhfukkas left and right in the 2014 Rumble, or beating a whole team by himself at the '13 Survivor Series, or feuding with Orton and having faceoffs with HHH last summer? Just be consistent, that's all I'm sayin'.

And far as the Cena push comments... aight, let's be real... was anybody REALLY surprised they pushed Cena to the moon after he won the belt? Were they just not paying attention the two years prior, when he was having matches with Angle and Jericho in his first month, wrestling Brock for the belt on PPV before he was even established, given a DVD before he'd even won the US title? I'm as tired of the Cena push as anybody, and it really got ridiculous that it went on for as long as it did... but I'm talkin' about the people who decided in 2005 that suddenly, Cena was bad in the ring and was being pushed too much, like 2003 and 2004 didn't happen. And at this point, half of the Cena booing is just a line dance. Watch Monday's Raw and peep how everybody booed him thru the whole match, then he rolls into that AA and gets the pin and the tune changes immediately :heh:
Breh...people definitely booed him at the Rumble...the question is....at what point in the Rumble match. And we all know EXACTLY when the boos started :mjpls:

Also...him at Survivor Series? What bearing did that have on anything, let alone the WWE Title, which is supposed to be the ultimate prize for the current top guy in the company?

Except the Eddie parking lot brawl match, when did Cena have any good matches from 2002-2005? Lol...fans stayed with Cena until he won too much even though commentary painted him as a underdog against Angle. A guy who never loses is a underdog? And he stopped rapping and started talking which buried him even more...he never recovered.

Not to mention that he became the posterboy for the WWE's candy coated bullshyt PG era...motherfukker won't and can't even go heel because of it so the fans know what to expect from him and that becomes boring as fukk breh

its the new smark thing to do. hate on someone because of their storyline. makes perfect sense, especially when most of them cheered for the likes of hogan and lugar as kids, but now its "different."

brock was like one of the youngest champs. had no mic work (still doesnt) and he didnt get an ounce of this hate. im glad they turned shamus, last night, so he wont have to deal w/ this anymore.

I'm glad they turned Sheamus last night so I won't have to deal with his shytty face gimmick.

And I agree, Reigns was being pushed down the people's throats and the people are not feeling it.

Yeah it's cool you gave us the WM moment with D Bry last year...but that's not enough. This shyt is not negotiable and Cokeboy will learn this: Give the people what they want.

The smarks were ok with Brock because it meant Cena wasn't getting the belt. FACT.

The smarks were not cool with Reigns because he was being pushed down the people's throats and being groomed to be champ instead of getting over on his own via the love from the people, thus necessitating a legit push. FACT.

Ya'll really need to stop acting like it's not in plain view.

All that needs to be said and nothing but facts. The people riding for Reigns hard are just doing it to separate themselves from the "nerds" and to be cool. There's nothing Reigns brings to the table since leaving the shield that should make any fan cape for him getting booed these last 4 months.

Cape for Roman Reigns just to be different and to spite Daniel Bryan fans brehs.

Now that he's lost, let's see how he's booked from now on. He either needs to work in the mid card a bit to develop a good will with the fans or he needs to go heel. Just losing to Lesnar then getting thrown into a feud with Rollins after Orton loses at Extreme Rules (@Ed MOTHEREFFING G :mjpls:) ain't gonna cut it. It has to come off as organic.

Like I said in the Raw thread, Roman can pull out an arsenal of moves next week and the audience still wouldn't have him. It would be a painfully gradual change to get back to at least a 50/50 split reaction. They need to see him with fresh eyes.
he needs to be a triple h heel type of nikka

There's literally no basis to this, you could say fans are only cheering for daniel bryan because Vince doesn't see him as a star.

No basis for what?

People ride for Daniel because he's an amazing wrestler and people saw through how fugazi it is to treat a guy who is that good in the ring and that over with his promos and catch phrases the way they did/kinda still do.

The 2014 Rumble? Isn't that what dude is talking about? The fans were definitely behind Reigns when he went God mode.

Same when he won that battle royal to decide who went to the ladder match for the WWE title.

Because they saw the untapped potential and much preferred that to old ass Batista. I like the guy and want him to do well. I'm just not gonna fake it like his promos don't need work and his charisma ain't borderline non existent.

His match with Bryan at fast lane was legit and the ass kicking he took from Brock last Sunday was very believable and well sold.

People act like the crowd just "randomly" turned on Reigns. Just like with Cena, they didn't just turn on Reigns because he got pushed. They turned on him because he also got lame.

When he was winning Survivor Series for his whole team by himself, or breaking Kane's record for most Rumble eliminations, he did it as the bad ass of The Shield. That edge he had then was lost after The Shield split up, and they never quite got it back. Since then, he's done corny promos even though he can't talk for shyt, he had to be saved by The Rock at this year's Rumble then just stood there all goofy like while his cousin took the spotlight, and he sat on the ropes for most of the Rumble not doing shyt, which was a far cry from the previous year.

What happend when the person who the majority of the fans wanted to win the Royal Rumble...got eliminated? :mjpls:
