I think we're straying off course a little bit here. I ain't saying I didn't watch some sort of cartoon growing up, I'm talking about the more eccentric tastes which seemed to have been plastered all throughout this thread. Of course my personal experiences don't speak for the entire black community, but I did move around a lot and dudes were not into Japanese culture like that - seeing some folk in here speaking as if was almost a norm - I have to question if they're black or not.

I didn't expect to have all this hostility around this shyt.

I dunno any nikka who wasn't fukking with either DBZ, Kenshin, Naruto or Inyuasha when I was growing up. Those shows were lit so it's no surprise some folks would stay watching other shows especially when there's so much quality animation these days.
