Why are subordinates asking if im married?

I have about 17 workers under me and one female asked if I was married like 2 weeks ago and today this dude asked me if I was married?

To be fair I dont like dude off bat, this nikka lazy and seems high as shyt half the time

One of the other supervisors told me he wasnt paying attention to shyt during orientation

He already had a couple moments where I wanted to smack him because I could see the indifference in his eyes while I was training him

Just waiting for the flurry of fukk ups soon to be from him, he aint getting no mercy

I was thinking because im young and holding down my position with ease, but when the dude asked me

it’s weird from a male subordinate imo

I know from a hiring standpoint, companies look at potential managers/supervisors who are married as being more “stable” but I’ve never really heard employees care one way or another if their male supervisor was single or not unless the female was interested in him

Not once in my life have I even considered asking a manager what their personal relationships were like so I have no idea

They both kinda hood

Reason why I say that is because usually hood folk dont have couth about asking shyt

The male asking me that caught me off guard tho, the female was like ok she probably likes me or something

Because an unmarried person with no kids don't understand shyt, like how often kids get sick and you need time off, or marriage shyt
