Why are there two versions of Dead Presidents

I always wanted to know why the original version was not on on Reasonable doubt? Why was there a second version release. Something I always wanted to know.... Also why did his name have that weird thing on top of it??

Dead Presidents 1 is better than 2, the In My Lifetime remix is better than the original.

Why was In My Lifetime not on Reasonble Doubt it matches the mood perfectly, I personally added it to my RD playlist.

The original was released four months before RD, so I guess it makes sense that he put the sequel on the album. I'm glad that he did; I like #1 more than #2, but I definitely prefer having both of them in my library.
