this is why it's dangerous when people start getting paranoid and obsessed with aliases and looking for deeper meaning for every action or non action taken by mods/admins. you really don't know what you're talking about and despite all your sleuthing around you don't actually come up with any concrete evidence. you clearly don't understand how IPs work, nor can you see their IPs so you don't even know whats going on with them to begin with.
your "exposal" thread was not accurate. I'm no mikeyc fan and I'm not always able to tell if accounts are aliases or not but in that case it was clearly 2 different people. being that it wasn't true, it basically made your thread one of the more egregious violations of my stickied thread, which is why i deleted it.
now we're getting threads like this, where the OP had a battery put in his back about a false exposal thread...trying to make something out of it being deleted thats not really there and at the same time spreading anti coli/admin propaganda because your thread and your follow ups about that thread misinformed him. turns out he's a formerly banned poster so he now he's outta here.
now can you see the damage that one troll has caused by you not following my suggestion in my thread? none of this would have happened if you had just trusted the process i recommended. since i posted that thread on Monday, i've banned 34 accounts. there's no reason for you to be trying to conduct your own investigations, file a report and let the people access to all the information handle it. we may not get everything right and you're not going to always agree with what we do but we're trying our best to keep this place running smoothly. stop getting in the way of that.

No problem. Most of the new poster's we've had since opening registration haven't been very good. You seem to be one of the exceptions to that so I'd hate to see you go down that road of getting heavily invested in exposals and trying to figure out who's who and all that. It's consumed other good posters and it always seems to end badly. That's why I'm trying to get people to put in reports when they see something out of bounds and KIM. Trying to combat trolls openly is a losing battle. Report them and move on to replying to the good posters and actually enjoy your experience on here while we quietly take out the trash.
