Why are tight ends majority white in the NFL

It's cool to play football but TE is a tough position. Most TEs who play a while all have back surgery
why are TE's prone to back problems?

Breh, in most offenses, TE is like being a glorified offensive lineman who gets to run across the middle and get tackled on your blindside every 10 plays. Lacerated kidneys, concussions, knee injuries, back injuries...shyt is no fun. 
Can you imagine having to catch a short pass with some foaming at the mouth linebacker 2 yards away from you, and refs having zero sympathy for the nasty hit they put on you because you're even bigger than they are?
You spend most of your time downblocking or runblocking. These big-name TEs catching passes for 40 yard gains and shyt are a rarity. It's a lunchpail position for the most part.
Not to mention, they don't get paid the way good WRs do.

And heard of hella others that have back surgery. My boy played 10 years in the league at TE .He actually had back surgery in college back in 07-08ish
Its more black TE's than white ones. This aint back in the day when Uncle Sha Sharpe was the only one holding us down.
After Kelce, Ertz, Gronk and Witten, I really only know like 3-4 other white ones off the top of my head.
Since we on race and tight ends, who is the better Latino, Tony Gonzalez or Aaron Hernandez? People can trash his character all they want but for a while he was better than Gronk.
