i read the thread title and i couldnt think of 1 thing the nikka did. he's like that pop artist thats famous and you know who they are...but cant name 1 of their songs.

Tbh most black educators don't really get enough credit as they should which is why we don't know much about his ass

Something about a Black man starting a college designed to put freed slaves to work...ducking the KKK in Alabama in the process.

The real question should be: why aren't other black HBCU founders not as prominent in history as Washington was.

I swear...black folk are some of the most unappreciative mufukkas :wtb:

booker t tried to lay the foundation for a self sustaining black community, produced more black millionaires than any other black school, and most importantly,

his students from tuskegee went to teach all around alabama, laying the foundation for the civil rights movement, which was fought mostly in alabama.

blacks are always taught to pick one or another, why cant we have plurality? he had good points, and dubois also. to be frank, the talented tenth birthed the boule, and BTW simply said, you need to learn to work, because the workers are just as important as the thinkers.

He did some ok things... but his mentality is not right to fix our current or past situations- is y we don't like him like that. He basically was a c00n. I can't knock him for that because he was directly brain washed by slave owners. However, there are other people more appropriate for us to respect.
