It's kind of similar to the whole n word thing in hip-hop too.

Jennifer Lopez caught hell for saying nikka but Pun, Joe, and 69 never did.
I agree with you on Pun and Joe not catching hell.

But 69 is the reason why a lot of black people are finally questioning Hispanics on saying the n-word.

Because they run the shyt behind the scenes as quiet as it's kept.

they only care about hip hop that will appeal to white suburban america, if it's too political or too "black", they shut it down.

sorry, kung fu kenny ain't got a song yet that is more political and heavier than "dem crazy" by dead prez :francis:

Gina Rodriguez said it once and was immediately called out
6ix9ine was saying it non stop for a whole year, while only repping Mexico and not PR

I know. But it was a build up SINCE 69. Dude has been in jail for almost a year now.

Charlamagne even called him out on it in his last interview. And he only called him out because there were people against 69 saying it.

69's response led to a snowball effect which even caused Fat Joe to have to bring up the subject.

And now the end result is Gina Rodriguez.

She probably would've been called out regardless but the backlash wouldn't have been so great without 69 leaving a bad taste in black people's mouth.

Bad comparison.

Vanilla Ice caught hell. Iggy was and still is apparently kinda fake.

People are starting to get at Justin Timberlake because people are realizing that he's not really authentic.

If you can rap and are authentic, you get accepted. He's not white, but it's why Bruno Mars hasn't caught hell yet for basically biting Morris Day, Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis.

Last year or two years ago, this bedwench looking black girl tried to call out Bruno for being a culture vulture. What's crazy is that regular black folks who grew up around a lot of black people and don't really fukk with many or any white people on a personal level in their day to day lives always give props to non-blacks who authentically have a lil bit swag or a touch of soul. But black people raised around predominantly whites who strictly only sleep with white people always have something to say about racial authenticity. Bruno's biggest supporters are middle aged black women who grew up on that 80's funk ironically. But Bruno also has the co-sign of his generation and Gen Z.

On the subject of the thread, America is still a white majority country. Whites feel the need to have representation in everything even when minorities never have equal representation everywhere in Amerikkkan society. The goal of Amerikkka is that lil Eric or Erica can be anyone or anything when they grow up. Nothing it's off limits as long as whiteness reigns supreme over nearly everyone. :feedme:

Has Post Malone done or said anything that would cause anyone to hate him? I don't think so but I don't listen to him. I don't think many take him serious because he's also a singer too.

I don't think anyone had an issue with Iggy until the Asap Rocky mess. Then there was the "runaway slave" controversy. After that she was exposed so many times that I lost count. Her voice, demeanor and pretty much everything about her is fake. Vanilla Ice and other white men have been called out over the years. There was backlash against Eminem too. The racist song about his black ex girlfriend and that music video where he made fun of Michael Jackson are still talked about. Many will hate him forever for that.

Hip-hop is still a masculinity driven art form so a man from outside ethnicities will have it easier stepping into it. Women in general rely too much on sex appeal also.
The industry is ran by white ppl. They all play musical chairs with each other and hop to different labels. They’ll never take it over tho, cause the world depends on black culture.
Not too sure about this...

There was a lot of backlash against 69. So much backlash that Fat Joe spoke up about it.

Pun and Joe also claimed PR & black. This gave them a pass. Cardi is now doing the same. She never claimed black until the backlash.

I mean every celebrity gets sniped at...it's part of the game, but by and large Bruno he's been teflon. He might be faking, but he's damn good at it...and honestly does make good ass music.

While I try to hear everyone, I've learned not to listen to every person babbling on Twitter, YouTube or even a message board for that matter.

Unless you show me your survey I'll have to assume that every single statement on your first paragraph was pulled out of your ass.

Also That "bed wench" is from DC, has a black husband and black kids but you'll believe whatever you tariq tells you too. And btw she actually posts here.
