Yea, this is going on heavy in the sports arena. I refuse to believe that blacks are the only gay athletes in professional major sports, however it seems black gay athletes are being pushed to the forefront as "freedom fighters" or something. Yes, blacks make up the majority of players for the NFL and NBA, but it just seems contrived to be quiet honest.

I'm not lost on the fact that whenever a chance is given to show black men in a less than "masculine" light, it is pounced upon.

I have no idea who Ellen Page is, but good for her.

I don't have a problem with black athletes being gay. I have a problem with them being used as objects to politicize the gay agenda as if them being gay is somehow a statement. When in reality, these dudes just want to play ball and go home. I feel like these guys are being used in a game that is beyond them.

Anderson Cooper can be be gay and still maintain his integirty as a CNN anchor without it being "Anderson Cooper, making a stand for all gay news reporters."

I mean, they held a news conference for Jason Collins.
