Have teachers not been asking for pay raises for.... forever? And still not getting such.
Welp if you have fast food employees making 30K, I'm sure you won't have to worry about that anymore..... because by then no one will want to be a damn teacher when they can get push a fry button instead and make the same amount
America is turning into the movie "Idiocracy" right before our eyes.
Give a 16 year old the opportunity to make +30K and see how long they want to finish high school/go to college. America will be a nation of dummies and the 1% will still be on top because we will be the biggest consumers who don't produce/create anything and who lack a want for education/innovation.
What kinda of national GDP do you expect us to have if we continue to glorify fast food jobs that require no education?
Anyway, you're average person who can take the 17% jump in price ain't eatin' McDonalds like that in the first place. McD's knows that. They just dropped that $5 burger they had because it wasn't selling. You're poorer, lower income people who have McDonalds in their neighborhoods will be the ones suffering and therefore not buying. If McDonalds knew they could raise the price by 17 cents on the dollar, they would have done so a while ago in the quest for more profits, not to help employees.
Complain about the hood being food deserts and raise the price of the source of food in the hood brehs
This shyt is never happening and many of these workers will feel pretty shytty when I order my 1 every 6 months Oreo McFlurry on an iPad.
