A bigger percentage of your tax dollars are going to subsidize the lives of MCD workers ( Medicaid, Section 8, Foodstamps) instead of going to things like education, roads, medical research.

You realize the folks who are working at McDonalds and depend on it as a salary and not a supplementary income, would be receiving more government aid if they werent working there?

My whole issue with this is that they're just making demands without showing any other type of initiative. What about the other people in the food industry, waitresses making $2.50 + tips. Alot of them don't make $15 an hour.

Sorry if i have to pay 8 dollars for 2 double cheesburgers a medium fry and a large drink i mine as well go somewhere that actually uses beef for its burgers. Taste a mcdonalds beef patty by itself. You're eating nerf foam. Franchises will close around the nation if they do this. IF they're going to do this they have to step up the quality of their meat.

I actually think minimum wage should be on a progressive scale based on Revenues.

MCD minimum wage shouldn't be the same as the mom and pop soul food restaurant on the corner

Simply because these companies are not paying their employees enough to live off of. When they can and Should.

The prices are going to rise anyway. I rather the prices rise to increase the living standards of the poor then to rise to increase the portfolios of shareholders
