People rarely have anything of significance to talk about with other people, including myself.

Im not the most talkative person but I try to find at least one thing to talk about with people at work; be it sports, wrestling, video games, current events or my interests at the time.

Most people want to be social on their own terms
. Talking just for the sake of talking is some raggedy shytI can't even count how many conversations I pretended to be engaged in this week.
That's the first thing that goes through my head when they say that shyt. And it's always a thirsty brawd.Because I don't want to talk to you.

Message boards attract that type for the most part, I guess.
Im anti social too but I got an on switch where i can turn on the social elements of my psyche and fit in perfectly with the extroverts. A lot of anti social nikkaz lack that skill and need to develop it.
Where you get that switch at?
Nowadays I just shut down and retreat when in a group of people. I never feel "ready" to socialize. I guess I really want to do it on my own terms like someone already mentioned.
I think I'm overworked. I'm pretty much holding my breathe (literally sometimes) until I feel my work is at a level of confidence at which can carry my erratic, exuberant personality.
At other times I just want to drop everything and be free of all the responsibilities and catch up with myself but that ain't how life works. Can't even remember who I am outside of work, with freedom or socially.

You need a holiday bruh. Get out of you're comfort zone, go on a weekend break with people you don't normally speak to. Do something different, sign up for a race, or join a debate club or something and speak to people you wouldn't normally speak to.
Being anti social is part of who we are but we can learn to turn it on for certain situations like work or family occasions, you just got to practice by speaking to new people and getting involved in different things every now and again. It keeps us alive... and when your busy doing things it stops you from being alone and over thinking everything which is detrimental for us introverts.
