I've done some reading about Scientology and it doesn't look very similar to me

why would we be into them?

They're more open minded, have less bloodshed attached to their name, and they're not solely human and Earth focused.

Go through life being raised in the church where they hustling for tithes and offering money. I just attended to try to get my life right with God not all that other entertainment and emotional stuff.

Racist beliefs such as? The caste system is socially based. Indian Christians, Muslims, Buddhists and etc have them as well.

Buddhism is a great discipline, I'm interested in it's teachings.

That was a personal statement but it applies to capitalist societies in general...we need instant gratification.

Yep. The Dharmic religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism) aren't based on any strict rules or laws. There aren't rules that say you have to pray x amount of times, dress a certain way or etc. The only thing that might be really be a problem is the vegetarian diet, but only Jains strongly adhere to that. All Hindu's and Buddhists aren't vegetarian.
