Ross is a busta to gen pop. his act is no longer believable to his core fans who are tired at this point of nikkas teasing them about how p*ssy they favorite artist is....basically Ross/mmg

Even if you right, the likes of G-Unit will never come back. :lolbron:

The suburban rap that you hate like K. Dot, Cole, and them will run the next decade.

Ross is just cold right now. He's peaked. Also don't help that the song sounds mad forced.

He already did 5 albums and went through several years of legit hits. He had his fun and he damn near 40 still making ratchet songs, but it is time for the young dudes to run the show now.

2014 is a transition period in Hip Hop.

The Trap sound is dying on the mainstream. His best bet is to make more smooth joints and not rely on soon-to-be-outdated trap music.

Pretty much. I've been saying from day 1 that he needs to go back to that Deeper Than Rap sound. That trap shyt only worked a few times (Mafia Music, Hold Me Back, BMF) after that the shyt became old QUICK. Deeper Than Rap was Ross at his best IMO...the closest he came to that IMO was God Forgives I Don't...

His best "trap" album IMO was Rich Forever. Which was the perfect balance of trap and smooth records....I listened to that the other day was like :wow: he shouldn't have released that for free..

I knew I hated kids for a reason :sadcam:

Nah, its merely retribution on the oldheads that shytted on the ATCQ/ Brand Nubian/ Public Enemy back in the day

That is my biggest beefs on mixtapes: Cause someone fukks around and drops a classic and their fans dont appreciate it. Imagine if Jay-Z dropped The Blueprint as a mixtape?

That is why I am harsh on rappers that drop dope material on mixtapes and shytty material on albums to feed to fickle fans. I mean, these rappers never think about long term shyt. Just get p*ssy and get rich till they dead.

Ross had a plan when he made up MMG so that he doesn't have to rap forever.

Because, contrary to what the liberal Jew media wants you to think, most Americans are devout Christians with a strong sense of family values. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn't exist

That's the biggest problem I've got with established artists dropping multiple mixtapes, shyt even someone like Meek wasted all of his best material on free music for his fans. The artists are fukking up their own careers out here but the majority of fans could give two fukks and expect a new mixtape every few months

I've had that song in rotation since it dropped the fukk are people talking about with "that trap sound is dead" that shyt sounds nothing like trap both of them were good. It sucks that Ross thought he had to be some drug kingpin when if you listen to his music dude has crazy talent and potential and would've been taken serious without a gimmick especially in 2014. I still think people are underestimating him and Mastermind is just gonna continue his streak.

Yep. Notice the best selling artists in this era release the least amount of music (Drake, Kendrick, Cole)?
