Why arent women good at video games.. still?

Watching your girl playing Grand Theft Auto is still hilarious to me.

But when it comes to the average chick they don't really have the same interest in video games like we do. From hood dudes to geeks we play all types of games even if we're just casual gamers. We'll play Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, GTA, Mario, COD. I've never met a dude who didn't like Smash Bros. Women seem to mostly like platformers or the Sims.

I know you were speaking specifically on tournament play. In that circumstance, I see what you are saying. However from a casual standpoint, the amount of women gaming and actually being good at it has risen dramatically both number-wise and skill-wise. I got that that work from @tater in Tekken and CoD and was pleasantly surprised by it.
Granted, I could make convincing excuses for losing but the facts are she was just too good to allow me a chance to adjust and sonned a nikka to Bolivia while talking shyt to add insult.

She's the best "non-specialized" woman gamer I have played. Can't do shyt with a joystick (ironically enough) but put a controller in her hand and she's:nahdog:

Even those who compete aren't exactly going hard in the paint as guys do. There's never going to be a female EVO champ, nor is there gonna be a female equivalent to top ranked players in anything. They still get offended about "sexism" in the FGC. You first need a very tough skin if you plan on being top tier. You have to understand that the phrase of "get raped" is merely a statement one makes to try and get into your head. But half the time, they're still getting offended than learning combos.

So you have the quad as well or no? And if you do, why not just keep the same PSN name? Also, if you on the 4, you got any fighters on there, cuz I mainly just play on the quad these days. I still have my triple hooked up tho.

I agree that the actual average female gamer is better than before. Mostly because the amount of females playing games now a days is way more and also the stigma is pretty much gone. But even then the average girl who plays say 2-3 hours a day compared to the average male who plays 2-3 hours a day, the female is still USUALLY way worse. At least you know im talking about tournaments though, apparently what I said in the original post went over a dozen or so posters heads.. people still talking about regular ass gaming which is not what I was talking about
