Well yeah, exactly that actually that but the systems and powers that be are rolling up the idea of a “land of the free” and future generations will think of freedom within the confines of what an everpresent system allows for them
Generational rug sweep removing the value of all that they worked for is akin to backhanded economic slavery but … these roles helped people (en masse) get by in their time, so I don’t know if I can design a better system for so many people but the money issue needs to be fixed and made sound
