Speaking for the Progressive Political Black Delegation -

In no uncertain terms -

White People must be the face of the Resistance.

They need to be the ones on the front lines, speaking truth to power, marching, demonstrating, shutting down highways....taking bullets.

If white people, white women, white children aren't the ones being slaughtered by this administration - no one will care.

How many Brehs been gunned down while sitting in their cars? So many that it's not newsworthy, much less able to shift POLICY.

We need a Sydney Sweeney type to take flash grenade to the face.

The grim reality is that most white people are fine with other people being hurt until it starts to affect them. Hell even when it affects them they wont care. Most victims of white mass shooters are white people.

If they dont give a shyt about their own children getting gunned down, they wont care about anyone else. If they want to go out and protest I'll give them likes on social media and tell them to keep up the good fight.

Black people will benefit from continuing to support local mutual aid programs providing first aid training, exchanging food and clothing, teaching self defense(both armed and physical), education on how to resist digital addiction etc.

The NOI has a lot of problems, but I'll give them this: they genuinely have helped men turn their lives around and provided meaningful support and security for any community they have a presence in.

The Black Panthers were so beloved because they met the needs of their community completely without government involvement. It was people helping each other, just like how the black church did before it was infested with charlatans and grifters. The spirit of what they stood for is still alive and there are organizations inspired by them. Getting involved in things like this is far more meaningful and helpful than risking your safety in a protest that wont accomplish anything.

I just saw a video today of people protesting in Minnesota and one of the ice dudes shoved one of them to the ground

You shouldn't just let people walk over you. You should push back unless you are okay with being a doormat
