it's not a myth, it's just a stupid talking point in the grand scheme of things. That trillion dollars is pennies in all actuality. A trillion is a lot individualt or for small collective. But not when we talking millions of people.

Just taking a walk in China Town shows you that buying from your race is better than buying from cacs. They have businesses they can hand down their bloodline. Working for whites, which black people seem to be comfortable with, doesn't give their bloodline something to hand down. I wish my Dad had a business he was planning to hand down to me. But he was too concerned about getting a check every two weeks from cacs.

Chinese, Koreans etc., ARE NOT more enterprising than us. The only reason so many open businesses is because that's usually their best option for making money. If that Asian is coming over here with a software engineering degree, they will happily make $100k working for The Man.
I think the idea is 1) influencing your economy on a micro or macro level with your spending, and 2) spending money is seen as a demonstration of resources so the belief is that a demographic could use those resources in other ways if they suddenly chose to reduce their spending

Your spending power isn't really a useful statistic. Poor people have tons of "spending power"
Its about the power to create wealth that really should be the metric.
