I've destroyed the "buying power" arguments on here since I joined.
That buying power isn't liquid and is tied up into monthly bills that cannot be reallocated due to there being no Black alternative.
Black buying power per capita is abysmal when you consider groups like Asian Americans who make up a 1/4th the African American population have exponentially larger buying power.
That said, the core idea of circulating money within the community as best you can should always be promoted but it by itself will not lift us out of our condition.
