I never said you need lattes and $200k homes. I'm just saying a family of 10 living off 100k are living in about the same conditions as a family of two making $20k

Who said you need a venture cap. to do any of that? most startup tech companies start with an idea, they work on the idea( usually in their spare time) once it starts gaining interest then they seek funding. This is how tech companies differ from other businesses. Alot of companies are starting just because of the boom of smartphones and the app stores.

VC arent giving out money to ideas. Theres a good video interview with the guy who created instagram and how they didnt have any funding at first, google started in their garage, apple same place. The guy who made minecraft he worked on the game in his spare time( made 100mil last yr ). The tech field is different because all you need is the skills, good idea and give up your spare time.The server this site is probably running on started out as a college project Of course im picking out extreme cases but we done need to be as successful either.

Once im done with my game ,its going on the app stores. That'll be the start of my company. The cost? $99 apple license, maybe $200 in books and my spare time. Even if the product made $2 lol Its a tech company owned by a black man.

However, you are speaking on a sector of business\technology that blacks are now starting to get their feet wet in over the last decade....We are extremely behind in this arena and you will have to give it time before we can establish a footprint in it.

there are 3 ways to get rid of cism.
#1 the racist stop being racist. a come to jesus moment.
#2 . their children some how grow out of it even while their racist parents are trying to negatively influence them.
#3 . the oppressed people RUN the racists out of power


#1 is HIGHLY unlikely to happen.

#2 is somewhat possible but not probable. what has happened is their children are less racist in the open. but when it comes to hiring folks, educating folks, etc. its when the racism will kick back in for these people. its the equivalent of racist white democrats. sure they aint just out and out "i hate colored folk" like some repubs. but when push comes to shove who do they side with?

#3 . is an option but hasnt happened yet for a thousand reasons. and even if this did happen. since people of color have been the foot stools for so many centuries. the world wont be all pretty the moment you get the racist out of power. you were taught by the racist to some degree how to run stuff. those methods are somewhat racist. that means say we get in power. the first thing you will start to see happen is Light skin vs dark skin. WHY? because we are trained by the best racist. this is all we know. we would have to first purge our minds of that filth first. then govern accordingly. that takes time... a LONG time. and that time you will have what we use to call "house negros" wishing things were back the way they were. because at least then, everyone knew their place.

the struggle would not come to an abrupt halt the moment the racist are out of their positions. its like over throwing the govvy in these other countries. it takes a long time to get from taking the crazy guy out of power. then sorting thru who should be in power and what groups have the loudest voices among the people. then govern from there in a fair/moral manner.

it could happen. but it would take decades and possibly a full century to fix all the ingrained cism. our children would be the best ones suited for the job of moral and ethical governing. since they would be further removed from the cism type of ruling we all have grown to know.

if you think i'm wrong. look no further then suge knight and puffy. both black dudes. both learned the ropes by watching white men up close and from afar run their businesses. even though they both ran their businesses differently. at the end of the day all of their artists had serious issues with how they ran the business on a fairness level when it came to checks/royalties, etc. who do you think taught suge and puff how to cheat people in the music biz? they learned by watching the masters of it. cause at the end of the day we are sponges. we only know what we see. we dont know anything outside of what we see and hear on a regular basis. thats how we're built. so if we hear and see shady business dealings. well guess how we are going to run our business? just like that. why? because we've seen the few folks that chose to do it the right way LOSE OUT(business goes under). so obviously the right way..isnt the RIGHT way.. if you want to make money.

I remember when I was 18 and one of my friend's cousin was a young family man at a time, he was doing good with group homes making like ten stakes a month off that shyt

so I'm like put me on to that shyt, he was like naww you too young, nah you don't nothing to do with this

when the truth is he didn't want to see me making money at a young age, because he wasn't making that type of money when he was 18

a few years later, I had closed some real estate deals and three 600,000 cribs under my belt, if we would have teamed up I could have turned them into group homes, and of course you know you get government checks depending on the size of the rooms and how many in the house. So you know this are some big ass cribs, new construction the whole 9. I end up foreclosing on them shyts, when I could've saved him by turinng them into group homes I just needed the patients.

The reality is, you gotta be out for self out here, because the minds of black people in America are fukked by generations of mental conditioning, and its going to take generations to reverse.

actually wealth and knowledge is passed down. but thats only when it comes to BLUE BLOOD blacks.

and that "multi billion dolar industry" stuff is a line from a Chris rock movie that I've never seen substantiated by any real data.

There can be a "black" tech industry or a "black" anything else industry. The weave industry is very limited. In opening a business you want to appeal to the broadest base of customers as possible. You shouldn't pigenhole yourself to one type of consumer.

The Asians that own these hair stores are not making a bunch of money. They are making just enough to scrape by. I see no value in pushing people torward opening business that will just let the scrape by. It's the hair distributors in India/Asia that are making the money and there is no way for us to take their positions.
