Just responding to your post about this black feminist movement you spoke about
The Matrix manifest and unfolds unbeknownst to you the true illusionist ...:cac:

In any case you have to fully understand barriers before you can work around them.
I can't imagine anything more stifling to a community than the belief that they don't have a shot, or that the cards are so stacked against them, they should seek other avenues of advancement or none at all.
When you consider this it isn't surprising that our young people have the mentality that they do, after all why reach or try to excel, when your going to be met with unfair opposition, and an invisible barrier.
Those that have reached have shown the climb to be accessible to us.
The ways in which we justify this belief and the efforts to circumvent it, have made it more real than it ever was.
In any case you have to fully understand barriers before you can work around them.

Or through them.
Many of the "barriers" are greatly exaggerated, and/or self imposed by the black community.
I don't want to throw Obama out there as an end all example, but lets keep it 100 for a sec...We got a negro in the White House leading the free world![]()

Teach me more about these "greatly exaggerated barriers" and the self imposed ones too...i am very interested in learning about these of which you speak
Not sure if your "Negro in the white house" statement was sarcasm or you were actually being serious....might want to clear that up breh
Difficult to do since they don't really exist, but essentially the black communities entire concept of racism in America is a bit off.
I was being serious about Obama...

Well teach me how our concept of racism is a bit off...
So since a brown skin man was selected to occupy the position of potus...all is well...no discrimination and we are no longer public enemy number 1?

Wish Trayvon martin and countless other brown skin humanoids who have been victims of police brutality and racial profiling had got that memo....
Im not even gonna touch this. Its too messy.

Now do you really refer to blacks as Negros in 2013???

Racism shouldnt be something we are concerned with. Racism is an idea, a thought/feeling in some ones head, and they are free to have that feeling. Its the act of discrimination that we need to be focused on... not racism itself.
