1. Black people support Black Business
2. Most Black Businesses are mostly in the SAME markets: restaurants, hair care, beauty products, clothing, clubs.
---- The market is satuated as fukk and niche non essentials.
3. Regardless of race, the average small business fails!
4. The average small business is started by people with no business sense and no real desire for the actual business. The people just don't want to work for someone else.

Watched 8 seconds. :camby:I'm tired of people reporting a narrative that isn't true. Blacks support black businesses all the time. If those businesses suck or not operated correctly, they fail like any other business. I do find interesting why no one ever reports why don't we see a line of whites, asians, hispanics lining up to patronize black businesses like we do theirs. :francis:

my point was they don't need the black dollar, they need to create black jobs. They need be the ones giving the community black dollars.
the dollars they get themselves can come from anyone.

....but yes a bikini coffee shop sounds like an excellent remote work location for weekdays :lolbron:

BRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKLLLLLYYYYYNNNN
  • Black owned businesses don't get as big loans from banks as their white, Asian, Hispanic counterparts, to open businesses.
  • Black owned businesses are often paying double on wholesale as opposed to other ethnic groups.
  • Once a black owned business gets labeled black owned, there's a negative stigma attached to it that brings in unwarranted attention.
  • Black owned businesses add 20% gratuity often because they don't trust black customers.
  • Black owned businesses are more expensive because they're paying more on wholesale than other ethnic or cac groups so they have to charge more to compensate.
  • Black owned businesses often have terrible service because of the people they hire and their compensation is a lot lower than their competitors.

Because of this, if I'm going to support black owned businesses, it has to be a small family owned business. Not all skinfolk is your kinfolk so the wrong people that are not likeminded and only hired by affiliation can mess up your business.

I lasted 43 seconds just because I wanted to hear her quote the fake made-up stat that EVERYONE quotes every time they make this video....and yep, there it was, from 0:38 to 0:43.

The claim "a dollar earned by a black person stays in the black community 6 hours but stays in the Asian community 28 days" is completely made up. Someone made it up in the 1990s with a fake source that has never been traced, and no one has EVER verified it. It doesn't even make sense as a statistic, like how the fukk would you even design a study that could trace and qualify that claim?

Same "statistic" that once claimed that the Black median wealth will be $0 in 2053, it's posted to doom and gloom.

Black owned businesses don't have to rely on black dollars to be successful.
Asian Owned businesses in this country largely make their money on non asian consumers for example.
They then take that money and re-invest into their own community. works very well for them. and their community

We seem to have it backwards, black owned businesses are supposed to support the black community with the money they make, not the other way around.

There’s issues on both sides of the fence

Black owned seem focused on the money part before they get the other parts right, I call it the black tax, where they up charge due to it being black and you “need to support”

no one can tell you what your time/effort is worth, but you have to be comparable, it’s a spot in New Orleans east called the mad chef, he made a buzz off the gram trappin plates, well he got a brick and mortar spot, it was like 20 plus for a burger and other items and it’s like i get it you putting a unique twist on it, but given a choice, i can hit east side cash and carry and get a 12 in burger poboy for cheaper, no it won’t be a hot sausage ground beef blend but it will be good.

It was this wine and plants and other shyt store in Bama, i saw a bottle of Moët, i was like damn i should cop, well her price was like 70 Or something to that effect way higher than store price, the girl working was like well you can support a black owned business, i said well that black owned business needs to match its competition not be higher you can’t shout “oh you buy them whyte folk” yeah cuz it’s conveniently located and not ridiculously priced

It’s a spot in Nola it was called nice guys

(Had the grass wall and dj) :mjlol:
Went there with my homie i graduated with, heard the food was good, they had two servers, it took years to get our had to grab some plates ourself for the app, then they added 18% gratuity, the portions was small (food was good) but they was taxin

On the other end, man we tough on business if they not perfect we complain and will go on sm and complain, we expect certain things, and want discounts and some more shyt, and still won’t go support even if it’s perfect

Do You want American black business people to live like Asian immigrants with 16 people living in a house and several children working illegally in the back of the shop?

Cause that is the real cost of cheaper food.

Find an Asian joint that employees nonasian people(at American wages) and the prices quickly begin mirror those of white restaurants and black ones.

Nothing more needs to be said after this post

Uh huh. Go ahead and create your own economic system and currency, with an economic infrastructure of Banking, Manufacturing, Retail, Transportation, etc and run it the way you want to run it. We are waiting

Yo I was at the convention center during Essence Fest and they had numerous Black businesses set up and all the businesses were: wack ass T-shirts with 2pac, corny ass slogans, etc.
*Wig and weave
*Incense and Candles
*jewelry

All of them looked like they came from the same Chinese supplier.

Black businesses need to diversify.

Even on the coli majority of the business on here are Clothing brands.
