Actually we don't know what or who Mamdani is going to turn out to be. So perhaps its wise to wait and assess midterm. Eg. Lots of people had high hopes for Adams in NYC and look at he turned out . Couldn't even run for a second term on his own ticket.

because progressive politics appeal largely to pie in the sky people with little real experience.
its why you tend to be progressive when youre school age but it slowly seeps out of your body the more time you spend in the real world around people.

black progressives learn everything from white liberals and attempt to attach that idiology to black life in America...
it doesnt work because it makes the assumption black people trust dominate society enough to give them control
