Why can't Braun have comedic elements to his character?

Him being able to have comedic elements to his character will add depth to his character and prevent him from becoming stale.

He ain't gonna become a goofy character like kali or big show. Don't worry about it.

These were all well after they broke out.

I don't think comedic elements would have stopped them from breaking out though, I was just saying if others want to argue it, fine, just that Braun is never going to be that massive breakout draw that those guys were anyway (very likely no one will ever be, with how things are done now), so they might as well use him to appeal to the audience they do have and give them what they want.

He's not going to be damaged irreparably so long as they don't go too far with it.

IMO, comedy has been part of wrestling forever and it's cool to me as long as they aren't a) overly dependent on it and b) it is funny


I'm rarely moved either way when watching Raw, but for me to at him singing with that big ass double bass and at him destroying Elias with it in the same damn segment means his character is doing OK.

I don't want to start a debate, but I see *some* Austin-like qualities in him that I haven't seen in anybody in a long time. The ability to go from to real quick AND have the crowd behind you the whole way is rare and shouldn't be taken for granted. I hope they don't fukk up and wait too late to strike

And even in those days, what was the most entertaining parts of that? 46 year old Chris Jericho, dressed ridiculously with his multitude of scarves and a scowl on his face, adding people to an imaginary list

That character worked for the same reason’s Braun does, it embraces the ridiculousness of being in pro wrestling. The only difference between Braun singing about whooping ass while strumming a cello () and lifting an ambulance with his bare hands is that one is intentionally comedic while the other is unintentionally hilarious because of the absurdity of it all.
