20 years from now nikkas gonna be like, 2pac? He overrated.
I haven't heard one Nas song.
Drake got classics.

...I smell an alias18 years old.
I been making my way through Jay-Z discography. I like Reasonable Doubt but vol 1, 2, and 3 are hella boring to me.
A lot of Wu Tang songs sound really boring to me.
They're just bars. There's no real melody. I'm sure if I printed out lyrics I'd appreciate it, but they don't sound fun to me. Fun songs to me are like Drake - 4PM in Calabasas, Kendrick Lamar - DNA, J.Cole - Neighbours, Vince Staples - Big Fish, etc.
I like some 90's songs like Ice Cream and Atliens, but I can't listen to a full album cause it gets boring. 4:44 >>>>>>> any Jay-Z album for me. Is it really that hard to enjoy stuff before your time?
Im 37, and I can't listen to a lot of the new stuff out now..Its generational. Not a big deal.
Music has changed, and tastes have changed. Nothing wrong with that

Your a "Funboy" OP....
Your 18 too...which is young but doesn't necessarily mean anything because at 14-15....I was already in tune with the majority of the shyt nggas were talkin about (outside a few adult transgressions). The majority of you younger nggas (not all) are just cut from a different cloth than the previous generation....
minus the rampant drug-use. Rap/hip-hop is a forever evolving genre. We set the trends and the tone, as much as naysayers hate to admit it....
90s hip-hop is goin on 20-30 years old. Producers and artists have progressed the sound ten-fold since then. So obviously shyt gonna begin to sound outdated. A lot of shyt I loved, as late as the mid 00s' has finally started to sound a lil outdated to me (albeit they're still classics). It starts to become too much a gap sonically. Bars and content has taken a vicious downfall but the sound (beats) never stopped progressing. I think its easier for people that came up in that era, to hear the music on a different level than a young ngga today....because we remember the energy it had then or what it meant at the time. That energy could never be replicated today. Same way you "fun" nggas will talk about a Drake or Uzi 15 years from now.....
Only difference is we weren't in to that "Funboy" shyt 24/7....
