Nintendo will make money with it's hand helds and games like pokemon etc. However they better stop fukking around with gimmick shyt like the Wii U and whatever else, because that's basically flushing money down the drain. Cuz they are done breh..... They haven't had a classic game in over 20 years. People only care about Uncharted, Last of Us, Halo, Gears, etc

I remember the GC having mature titles but they struggled in sales due to devs not fukking with those mini discs and the fact that the purple lunch box was hard to market. Geist, RE, and many others were aimed at gamers wanting a mature IP that wasnt a Nintendo game. But the console didn't sell well and left Nintendo confused. I imagine that probably had a big influence on the Wii's design and marketing strategy.

Everyone I know had a Wii so I'm not sure where the 20 year slumber statement comes from. This thread also shows that there is a demand for A Nintendo console from older gamers but the Wii U just isnt something some are willing to invest in. This gen showed that all 3 companies can thrive in the market so I don't see where you're going with this.
