I HATE when people say we live in a democracy because that isn't the case Hell, I HATE when people say we have just for all We live in an oligarchy with oligarchs in control. They infiltrate your government and etc. They are corporations and billionaires You do know corporations by law are people too right I bring this up because brehs won't call it like it is on here. shyt is NO WHERE near a Democracy. Yesterday, I was having a discussion with my parents about this They thought I was making the damn thing up We have some people waking up a lot more than they were, but it's still quite a few that's sleep.

But doesn't that just prove his point?

In a Democracy it doesn't matter what resources you have because every citizen has the same voting power and political influence. Clearly that is not the case.
The US was and has been never a democracy anyway, it was originally founded as a Republic and then evolved into an Oligarchy in the early 20th century with the rise of the Banking cartels

People are easily manipulated by TV and Media and I don't trust the electorate to make a well educated political decision.
Ever since Brexit I just don't have faith in people ,
the best argument against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.

I am pro-socialism, however I don't think mankind is ready for socialism yet
although I do believe it is an inevitability and the next progression in society.

For the time being though , I'm a skeptic. I don't take sides.
