That's literally what Kyrie is hailed as.

Kyrie can off any shot on any angle too.

You think Brunson is more skilled?
Brunson just gets to his spots at will and he’s stronger than Kyrie too.

Aesthetically, Kyrie might be superior but honestly Jalen might be just as skilled.

Jalen is just constant pressure, manipulates and controls the game better, dominates in the floater zone much more than Kyrie.

Kyrie is a better ball player, Brunson is a better leader

it’s the same reason why T-Mac despite being more talented than Kawhi is not as successful as a #1.

Kyrie a better all time player currently, but doesn’t have more success as a #1 than JB

Being a number 1 is about holding guys accountable and lifting all boats

Which JB does better than Kyrie despite not being better and actually JB not being better than Kyrie is actually debatable right now, even though Kyrie has a more aesthetically pleasing game.

not tryna be a nitpicky contrarian but a very strong case of Kawhi being more talented can be made as well

tmac is more captivating .... has a more marketable repertoire of talents, no doubt

T-Mac overrated as shyt that’s an aesthetic thing yall like how he looks playing. A beanpole in a baggy uniform who could jump out the gym and make tough shots with a leg kick and cool accessories.

Kawhi has Jordanesque hands and he’s one of the most accurate midrange shooters of All-Time. He’s far stronger than T-Mac ever was and is on the short list of wing defenders in history.

McGrady was a streaky volume shooter and poor finisher at the basket. He’s not fukking with Kawhi.

I didn’t say he was better, i
said he was more talented

i think kawhi maxed out his potential, injuries plagued him but he got what he could out of his body.

T-Mac was actually known for his poor work ethic and diet. He didn’t max out his potential at all.

but still had a HOF career

He was surrounded by young players :dahell:

Why are yall acting like the Tatum & Brown he played with back then are the same players they are today

Eh, JB and JT were young as hell. I think their rookie and sophomore years.

Brunson is starting next to KAT, OG, Miles, and Hart who are all in their primes.
They were in the CF the year before that when Kyrie was out and they were even younger. They were in the CF the next year after Kyrie left.

Yep, going into that next season with Kyrie that team was super hyped up and expected to at the least make another Conference Finals run if not make it to the Finals. I remember Steph made a comment like, "I think we'll see them in the Finals" or something to that effect back then. Nobody expected Tatum and Brown to contribute like they did in that playoff run the year before so with Kyrie and Hayward coming back people thought they were gonna make another run.
